JAKARTA, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- A helicopter with four people on board crashed on Wednesday in Indonesia's Central Papua province.
The aircraft went down at around 1:40 p.m. local time while flying from Ilaga Airport in Puncak Regency to Mozes Airport in Mimika Regency, said I Wayan Suyatna, head of the search and rescue office in Mimika.
"The helicopter has been located. The occupants are the pilot, co-pilot, and two passengers," Suyatna told Xinhua, adding that their conditions remain unknown.
He said evacuation efforts will continue on Thursday, subject to clear weather and other favorable conditions. ■
